Chapel Volunteer
St. Joseph Living Center is seeking Chapel Volunteers to assist with daily chapel activates. This involves transporting residents to and from their rooms to the chapel for daily mass, and monitoring residents during Chapel Services. The only qualification required is your desire to help someone in need.
- Volunteers should be in good health without any physical or emotional ailments that may be harmful to the residents.
- Chapel volunteers will receive direction from the Pastoral Care Counselor.
- Volunteers will receive a personal orientation prior to starting their service.

Vigil Team Volunteer
Vigil Team Volunteers are trained to provide a strong support system for our residents who are actively dying.
As a Vigil team volunteer you will sit with dying residents to provide comfort and compassion as they reach the end of their life. Volunteers must be adept and comfortable with death and dying issues in order to be able to be a source of support to these residents.
- Volunteers will be on call as needed and hours are flexible/negotiable
- Vigil Team volunteers will receive direction from the Pastoral Care Counselor.
- Volunteers will receive a personal and work related orientations prior to starting their service.
